Richard B. Aakre
Richard B. Aakre was born in Duluth, and grew up in the northern lakes region of Minnesota. His six inch square collages incorporate objects found in nature such as shells, seeds, and lichens, and postage stamps. He lives and works in New York City, but spends summers in the Upper Delaware region of New York State, where these pictures were taken.
